Given a 5-star review by AA Gill in the Sunday Times, Dock Kitchen Notting Hill is tucked away in the old Virgin Records complex in a Victorian goods yard on the Grand Union Canal. Initially opened as a pop-up supper club by chef Stevie Parle and his sister, the Dock Kitchen has grown into an established name on the city's restaurant scene.
Always changing, the Dock Kitchen menu is spontaneous and inspired by a variety of themes, ranging from the seasons to different authors. British classics are infused with international flavours, seen in the red-legged partridge or grouse from the Yorkshire moors, roasted with Moroccan spiced honey, Muscat grapes and couscous. Tastes of India at Dock Kitchen Ladbroke Grove can be found in vegetarian options like beetroot and chard leaf mallum with chapatti.
Overlooking the Grand Union Canal, Dock Kitchen London features eclectic, industrial-style interior, with exposed brick walls and metal beams.
Run in conjunction with British furniture and lighting designer Tom Dixon, Dock Kitchen restaurant is in easy reach of Ladbroke Grove Tube Station.

Really lovely. Excellent food and loved the wine pairing

Perfectly nice food - though at West End prices - and good service. Butterscotch tart rather dry and disappointing, and a bit shocked to be charged for tap water. But delicious pizza bread while we waited for the food made up for it. As for the music - why do restaurants insist on this background noise which satisfies neither people who like listening to music nor those who don't?

Excellent - lovely food, friendly & efficient service and great environment, sun pouring in the window.
Only comment is the way the menu was written, it was not clear the drink included in the set lunch was a drink! Delicious, but I'd expected an 'after' as it was written below the main course and centred... I know it was called tea, but this is a trendy place and I am naive and innocent!
