This was exceptional. Expectations were high and ultimately exceeded.

My friend & I thought that this was one of the best meals we have ever had. The atmosphere was relaxed but being able to see into the kitchen made it fascinating. The menu was very interesting and the food absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. Altogether a superb experience.

We ordered from the 'Set Lunch' - even though there were only two selections for each course they were interesting and our different dishes were all delicious - especially the Quail. The serving portions were adequate and very tasty. Also the wine list was extensive - expensive - but delightful.

We were given a great table. Bravo. I've lunched here before and had a bad table. The allocation of the table greatly enhances the experience. The food and service were commensurate with the Michelin rating. The pudding was best. We appreciated the suggested wine pairings for the course and took advantage of these with some success.

It was the third or fourth time we have eaten here. It was wonderful. The space, the staff, the food ( only comment from the sirloin eaters- more rare than ordered and too fatty - my fillet was perfect). We love this restaurant ??????????????

A modern, well appointed dining hall with an excellent atmosphere. Every table was occupied for this service, which allowed my and my companion to speak freely, instead of the occasional hushed tones one has to speak in when at a less lively place. The staff were very efficient and attentive, without being intrusive. The Lunch Menu, at £45 for 3 courses, was incredible value. My salmon starter was a standout - the beetroot purée gave a slightly sweet and earthy flavour to the salmon, the lemon and parsley oil providing an acidic balance - it’s one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while and I’ve been fortunate enough to dine at La Dame De Pic and Celeste in the last month alone. My lamb main was again superb - the lamb was so tender you could pull it apart with your fork. Cucumber, while not typically paired with Lamb, was a surprisingly good combination. Both deserts on offer were very good but I would highly recommend the chocolate cake. We started with Champagne which at £19 a glass for a 2012 Moet and Chandon was reasonably priced. The wine list is extensive and again, gives a wide range catering to all budgets. The place is far more relaxed than formal, with a diverse clientele - it’s not stuffy or pretentious and I’m sure all will feel welcome. Total cost came in at £260 with service and tip. I had 3 glasses of champagne and a beer, while my companion had two classes of champagne and two glasses of wine. Opting to just have water, we could have done it for £110/120 which for the quality of the food and service would have put it in a league of its own for value. Very, very impressed. I often sample the lunch menu before coming back for dinner - I look forward to coming back and having the tasting menu in the near future.
