With accolades from Time Out and Egon Ronay, Delhi Brasserie was called ‘the best restaurant in Soho’ by the Evening Standard. Just along from Ronnie Scott’s, elegant tall windows look out over historic Frith Street, a buzzing city location to enjoy its traditional Indian food for more than 25 years.
Delhi Brasserie’s West End location makes it easy to combine with a visit to London’s theatres or shops, with the chef’s recommendations including lamb keema masala and fish dupiaza. Charcoal grilled trout and king prawns are among speciality tandoori dishes.
Vegetarian curries and biryani feature on the Delhi Brasserie menu, along with a tasty seafood selection. Classics like chicken saag, lamb dansak and tikka masala are all present, along with sizzling barbecued kebabs.
With a wide-ranging menu masterminded by chef Shib Nath, the Delhi Brasserie restaurant in London can create bespoke offerings for special occasions. Delhi Brasserie is a 5-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road Tube Station.

Very nice restaurant and good food, shame we had to leave early since people were queuing for our table. But staff handled it well during the circumstances and it was during the busy Christmas break.

We didn't end up eating at this place. They confirmed our booking then rang hours later demanding a £15 deposit per HEAD and tried to move us to start to eat at 9pm. There was no mention of a deposit on their website and I rang back to try to cancel then sent an e-mail to confirm it and explain why and no response.

We were prebooked for 8 pm to celebrate my mother's birthday. We were given a comfortable table for four in the central part of the dining space. The atmosphere was conducive to good conversation, with Indian background music that was not too intrusive. The three-course set menus for minimum 2 people, one of which we tried, seemed very good value. Service was friendly but unfussy. The food was tasty. Portion control was perhaps a bit fierce (the chicken sag could have done with more chicken, and the desserts were also on the modest side).
