Taking inspiration from Italian and Spanish cuisine, Dehesa is an acclaimed charcuterie and tapas bar, and boasts a coveted Michelin Bib Gourmand. This stunning corner site, found just off Carnaby Street, boasts a large outdoor terrace, and inside there is a welcoming mix of bar seating, discreet window booths, and communal dining.
The Dehesa menu offers fine-tuned, regularly changing tapas dishes, ranging from the likes of charred mackeral with horseradish emulsion, to confit pork belly with cannellini beans and rosemary, and from chickpea fritella with mojo verde, to courgette flowers stuffed with goats’ cheese and drizzled with honey. At the weekend, there are brunch specials on offer.
Alongside a list of sherries and unusual Spanish and Italian gin & tonics, a carefully compiled wine list is matched to the food at Dehesa in London, with many bins offered by the glass. Italian and Spanish wines come courtesy of both popular large-scale vineyards and smaller independent producers.
Dehesa in Soho is sister restaurant to the much lauded Salt Yard, Ember Yard and Opera Tavern, and offers a 12-person private dining room. Oxford Circus Tube Station is a 5-minute walk away. Please note that only charcuterie, cheese and bar snacks are served from 15:00 - 17:00.

Creative menu, good atmosphere, not quickest service on terrace

Been to Dehesa a few times, have had a good time each visit. However, I think I will look around now as my dishes were a bit average. Ordered 4 of the signature courgette and 2 splendid examples plus 2 that were about half the size of the first appeared. There should be consistency here at the premium for this speciality. My companion told me she would kill me if I ate both the big ones. Dilemma, they taste unbelieveable. The shellfish dish was average, patatas bravas uninspiring. Cod excellent, tortilla devine, dessert good but I skipped it as the biscotti and masala wine I favour has gone.

Love Dehesa. It's consistently good and excellent value for the quality of food in this area. Would like to see a few more bottles available under £25.

A very enjoyable experience, food and service extremely good. The choice of tapas was very varied and I think we could have eaten and enjoyed every dish on the menu if we'd had the appetite.

It was an amazing experience. I love everything about the restaurant from the atmosphere, staff food and of course the amazing celection of wines. We try not to eat much in the day so we can have a good mix of plates there. The flavours will blow your mind. Highly recommend

Super attentional waiter who also handled our kids great. Small but very tasty dishes. Good selection of wine.
