The iconic and elegant Davies and Brook at Claridge's in Mayfair is brought to life by the acclaimed Chef Daniel Humm from 3 Michelin-starred Eleven Park Place in New York City. Davies and Brook serves up an internationally inspired menu that brings Humm’s influences from America, Europe and beyond, while highlighting British seasonality.
Coming full circle to the kitchen he graced at 15 as a junior cook, Humm presents the famed Davies and Brook menu, offering sea bass ceviche with avocado or poached lobster and pear with a sumptuous bisque. There’s the signature honey and lavender-glazed dry-aged duck with rhubarb and daikon for mains or Humm’s favourite, the nostalgia-inducing Milk and Honey dessert.
Walk through the photo-ready archway into the Davies and Brook restaurant and admire the impressively sleek bar while sipping on an innovative cocktail, like the Celery Fizz with tequila, grapefruit and sorrel and pair with small plates on the terrace. The setting is tranquil but refined, flaunting Claridge’s historical design with extravagant Irish cast crystal colonnades while also featuring specially commissioned artwork from American artist, Roni Horn.
Enjoy personal service alongside a memorable dining experience at the destination praised by national critics. Davies and Brook at Claridge's in London is situated a 2-minute walk from Bond Street Station.

2 amuse bouches were both mush room based ( shiitake and enoki to be precise) and salty. The butter for bread was also topped by glazed mushrooms. You’d have a serious problem if you are not that keen on mushrooms. The pouched turbot was nice, but again with mushroom consommé sauce and salty. Recommend if you are mushroom fan and tend to like salty food. The decor is a bit like a Congressional library but then maybe this is their New York style. The waiter was nice as expected for this type of establishment and made efforts to be hospitable. I’d definitely recommend him. The excellent champagne may get you forget the mushroom experience, especially with a gorgeous orange desert ( do not go for a chocolate cake, a bit salty). If you have never been there before, worth trying for a new experience.
