Found on the 36th floor of London’s spectacular Sky Garden building, Darwin Brasserie offers seasonal British cuisine and incredible views across London. The mezzanine-floor dining room looks down onto the Sky Garden’s lush greenery, along with uninterrupted London vistas.
The all-day dining menu at Darwin Brasserie focuses on homegrown, in-season produce, where classic British dishes are served with a modern twist. Enjoy dishes like sea bass with crispy pancetta & parsnip purée, and venison haunch and pie with poached quince and braised cabbage, served sharing style. Old-school, crowd-pleasing desserts include banana split with pineapple & hot chocolate sauce, and apple, pear & blackberry crumble with hazelnut ice cream.
This restaurant in the Sky Garden features elegant, minimalist décor, inspired by nature, and is currently London’s highest brasserie. Guests can also select from the diverse cocktail list at Darwin restaurant on Fenchurch Street, which is headed by signature rum mixes.

Yet another terrific experience at Darwin’s Brasserie. The food was excellent especially the sea bream and the service was perfect. Our waitress, Iwona, was extremely helpful and even got us moved to a table by the window from which we had stunning views over the Thames. This is about the sixth time I have been to the restaurant and I will be taking guests there again in a few weeks.

First of all - what a view. Darwin Brasserie originally drew us there because of the promise of the views of the city, and they did not disappoint!
We went for the star deal, with 3 courses and a cocktail for £39.50 - you would be hard pushed to find anywhere in London to get that much food for under £40 that would even come close to the same quality, and the cocktail was absolutely delicious.
to start we both had the ham hock terrine, which was spectacular, especially paired with the Portuguese white wine. For our main we both opted for chicken - future chicken dishes I consume will now be forever blighted because the simply won’t compare to the chicken we were served at DB. The jus was delicious, and just the right level of intense for the chicken. I opted for the chocolate tarte for dessert, which was sensational and very filling - my partner opted for the panna cotta, which naturally I tried too to ensure he wasn’t getting the better dish. Both desserts were absolutely delightful.
However, as wonderful as the food was, it’s important to mention the service. I’ve never had better service in my life - Viktorija and Iwona could not have been more helpful, courteous or charming, and they truly are an asset to DB. Our glasses never ran empty, we were well advised on our food choices, and they even made recommendations for where else in the city we could eat with them.
A 5* experience made perfect by 5* people.

Fantastic views and the burger was amazing. Service was great although getting the bill and paying for it was a bit on the slow side but aside from that it was a great experience and I would definitely return.

Excellent service and good food with views (on a better weather day!) to die for. The Garden, however, is very disappointing and the Sky Pod bar is more like something at a railway terminus or airport with so many people wandering aimlessly about with all their travel gear and clothing. It spoils the experience of the restaurant, where the clientele have come in smart casual clothing.
