Restaurant description

Named after the character created by Virginia Woolf, Dalloway Terrace is an elegant, poetic and quintessentially English space.

Fully heated in winter, this year-round destination restaurant and bar offers the peace and charm of a secluded secret garden in the winter, and a light, elegant and beautiful al fresco space in the spring and summer months. Light breakfasts, brunch and all-day favourites make up the Dalloway Terrace menu, with a range of cocktails and wines also available.

With the WinterAtDalloway, be transported to the luxurious Alpine town of Gstaad and discover a picturesque snow-covered playground fit for A-listers and global icons alike. Savour the flavours of Switzerland with the new seasonal menu, including Alpine classics such as cheese rosti and cheese fondue alongside 'Winter Warmer' cocktails, a perfect tipple to immerse diners in the Alpine way of life.

Set in the heart of the historic and vibrant Bloomsbury, London’s literary centre, this beautiful indoor-outdoor space is just a 2-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road Station and the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street and Soho.

Fabulous interiors, very romantic decor, attentive and very friendly waiting staff and top of the range food. Loved the cocktails.

The overall appearance of the restaurant is stunning. The food was good but wouldn't say amazing - however presentation was great and everything looked pretty. Cocktail list left a lot to be desired - a lot of bitter drinks where as I prefer something sweet.

Service lovely, brunch a bit tired. French toast was soggy, hollandaise on Egg Benedict too vinegary. Pancakes seemed to have been made in advance. Garden room very nice but a bit chilly on a breezy September day.

Very pleasant outdoor patio setting for Sunday brunch; genuinely tuned-in waiters. Reasonably priced, little-known jewel in the heart of London.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated. The service was superb. The food was delicious. We had the Afternoon Tea with a glass of Ridgeview Sparkling Wine.

We had the afternoon tea on the Terrace, the ambience was perfect. Didn't get the picnic basket though as it was added to a stool beside the table and only the menus came out of it. This was the advert of the afternoon tea. Then not used at all. The sandwiches were exquisite loved the chicken roll. The cakes and scones were to die for. Only crumble I have was we had to ask for cream and jam for the scones and tea spoons to eat one of the desserts. Also when delivered a drink the tonic was spilt but was not cleared up. It was until a waiter appeared on the scene an hour later were we properly looked after.

We enjoyed sitting out and the atmosphere was exquisite, for the service, and the reception was more than excellent but all the dishes that we ordered did not we like!
