Restaurant description

Named after the character created by Virginia Woolf, Dalloway Terrace is an elegant, poetic and quintessentially English space.

Fully heated in winter, this year-round destination restaurant and bar offers the peace and charm of a secluded secret garden in the winter, and a light, elegant and beautiful al fresco space in the spring and summer months. Light breakfasts, brunch and all-day favourites make up the Dalloway Terrace menu, with a range of cocktails and wines also available.

With the #DallowaySpringGreenhouse, be transported to a whimsical overgrown greenhouse and dine underneath an abundance of cascading roses and sweetpeas. Inspired by the grounds at Virginia Woolf's country home, the stunning English garden surroundings are completed by a selection of fragrant herbs in charming terracotta pots found throughout the restaurant. Embracing the change of the season, savour the flavours of seasonal spring dishes alongside floral cocktails that nod to those quintessential spring classics

Set in the heart of the historic and vibrant Bloomsbury, London’s literary centre, this beautiful indoor-outdoor space is just a 2-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road Station and the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street and Soho.

Dishes displayed on a la carte menus are representative of the type of food available at the restaurant.

The food was excellent, great fish and chips and the Valhrona and nut dessert was great. Very helpful staff, extremely nice Only downside was that it was cold, despite the heating, we could feel the cold air coming from outside. The waiter gave us some blankets, thanks again for that

Afternoon tea with complimentary presecco for six of us was delicious! The selection of sandwiches, cakes etc and quantity perfect! It was a special occasion for my mother's 80th birthday and she was delighted. We were very well looked after by waiting staff who were very polite and considerate. Very comfortable table. We then went to see The Bodyguard! All excellent ??

good environment and decor. Loved the dimmed lights. Very good food. Tea serving a little skewed towards sweet (as opposed to sandwiches), but this is possibly our personal taste

Good service but when we finished dinner and paid we realised that the waiter hadn't kept on top of our wine and we still had a third of the bottle left!!! Nice setting but It was quite cold and drafty in the area that we sat in. Risotto was lovely, shame the gluten free bread wasn't home-made.
