We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to CSons. Both of us thought our meals were excellent. One had the Cuban pork and the other the PBS and barley fish. They were delicious. We both loved the Lemon Yum, too. We were impressed with the friendly staff who, although, busy were willing to chat. Thank you very much for a delightful evening. We will be back.

The atmosphere in here was great; and loved the music choice. Staff were very accommodating and friendly and knew a lot of the background and sourcing of the food, which was really interesting to hear about - I didn't get the names of the waiters, but it was great service! The food was great - one of us has a dairy intolerance and all dishes on the 5 course mystery menu were customised with ease to meet our needs. Everything was fresh and tasty, and well balanced with vegetables - we both left feeling full and happy! The mystery menu was varied and there was something for everyone - not sure if this review is public or not so I will keep the element of surprise but well worth a visit. As far as drinks go, the cocktails were great, and a little different from the standards, with twists which made a nice change from usual drinks; a great selection of lagers and ales as well. Haven't visited before, but will make a point to visit again!

The fact that I have dined at CSons on many occasions in the recent years should tell you that I love it and it is consistently great. Their style is a fusion of many tastes with beautiful blends of spices, herbs, fruits, grains and veg. It’s good to see that the menu includes another option for each course, including vegetarian and vegan as well as fish and meat. I really appreciate having that choice. The staff are always friendly and the restaurant has a lively atmosphere.

Dear CSONS, we absolutely love your food and friendly approachable manner. The jerusalem artichokes and labneh donuts were the highlights of our dinner- we will be back!! :) Our waitress had a small red wine spillage incident which landed on my friend's top & jacket. Our lovely waitress apologised sincerely and helped clean up :) However, we were a little surprised she didn't receive a complimentary desert/drink or had her meal made complimentary.

Great meal but surprised the mystery menu was not explained on arrival but the food was stunning, lovely wine and service was good. It’s my favourite restaurant locally but rarely go of an evening as mainly breakfast or lunch. It exceeded expectations yet again.

The team were super attentive despite being fully booked. Meals were fantastic and dietary requirements were asked about prior to the meal and during the meal again. The meals were delicious and the break in between meals was spot on. I will be booking back in.

Very disappointing! My fiancé and I were looking forward to eating here but won’t be rushing to return. They initially wanted to sit us next to 3 girls who were loud and were swearing, we insisted they relocate us (to which they seemed reluctant but accommodated us anyway). The paper menu was given to us and there were 3 typing errors so had to ask what a couple of the ingredients were. Our main meals were tasty broccoli meals but the portion sizes were more of a side dish (I asked the waitress if they are decent sized dishes and she confirmed they were), we were slightly stunned when she gave them to us! To fill up we ordered a dessert of donuts in stewed apple and custard which was delicious then later asked for the bill. When we were ready we left and thought we’d take the money to the staff and on leaving confirmed if that was ok and they shouted “yes thanks”, not one of the staff turned around, made eye contact, asked us if everything was ok or even said good night - nothing and considering we had just spend over £50 thought they needed to spend a bit more time on their customer service. It was very poor and we left feeling a bit numb.....we agreed it was probably the worse restaurant we’ve left after having a meal, for ignorance.
