The beautifully revived Crystal Palace is housed in a Grade II listed building and brings delicious British cuisine to the heart of Bath. The pub boasts a great location just 2 minutes away from The Roman Baths and The Bath Abbey by foot.

Spanning from salads and juicy burgers to piping-hot, stuffed-full pies, the Crystal Palace menu is lovingly prepared by the talented resident chefs. Ingredients are sourced from across the British Isles, and meats and daily-fresh fish catches can be traced back directly to sustainable, trusted suppliers. Choose from dishes including pan seared scallops or pan fried sea bream fillet.

Crystal Palace pub also presents a renowned drinks list, featuring award-winning ales including Fuller’s most well-known brew, London Pride. Fine wines, premium spirits and soft drinks are also on offer.

During summer head to the spacious patio area for a meal or drink. Bath Spa Rail Station is a 6-minute walk from Crystal Palace.

We went to the Crystal Palace for a family celebration and booked a table for 8 people. When we asked if we could be moved away from the main entrance we were told it was not possible as all the other tables were reserved . We accepted this and proceeded to order our meal . The waitress, who was not welcoming in any way, made the atmosphere such that you felt if you asked anything, she jumped down your throat. A particular example is when we queried why our 8 yr old sons meal did not come under the children's menu offer. We ended up paying £13.00 for a bacon and cheese burger with no salad when all our son wanted and which we had requested was just a plain bun and burger . A curt response of her mentioning she had offered him the option of a children's burger at the time of ordering, was unnecessarily aggressive and we feel totally ripped off. It made us feel we couldn't complain about the terrible desserts we had been given - particularly the gooseberry fool which was of a sloppy consistency and my father in law's dessert which came with cream instead of ice cream. Earlier my wife had also been served a beef roast instead of a lamb roast and again the waitress's manner was surly as if we had made the mistake . She may have been busy but there is no need to treat guests like that particularly when the meal was over £160.00. Overall, a disappointing experience .

Lovely food, generous portions. We had the rarebit sharing platter and ox cheek and venison pie which were all very flavoursome. Only one girl waiting on tables but she wasnt rushed and was so lovely, she left you to enjoy the meal and didnt keep asking questions and fussing which is something I do not like when going out for a meal. I would 100% reccomend the Cystal Palace.

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Friendly, helpful staff, couldn't fault it. It managed to create a country pub atmosphere in the centre of town.
