The atmosphere is always great, the food was fab especially with the gluten free pasta option. The service was great and we weren’t waiting long for the food, bill or drinks.

Fire & Stone is based in the heart of London’s vibrant West End, nestled behind Covent Garden’s world famous Piazza. There is a spacious feel to its dining room with high ceilings and a contemporary design, set across 2 floors.

Leading the Fire & Stone menu are 6 sensational burgers which from New York to Melbourne feature the best of gourmet global flavour combinations. Each burger layers prime 6oz beef in a sweet brioche bun with an array of moreish toppings such as The Saville’s grilled goat cheese, grilled Serrano ham and sweet red onions, finishing with soft lettuce leaves, gherkin and tomato. All burgers are served with a generous side of skinny fries housed in a rustic wooden crate. A vegetarian burger is also available, as are pastas, fresh salads and tempting desserts.

From the bar come summer jugs likes classic Pimm’s or a fresh Long Island ice tea. For a quirky refreshment, try the Strawberry Froze, which blends Tempranillo rosé wine with strawberry-infused sugar, strawberry syrup and fresh lemon juice, served straight up with strawberry sugar rum and fresh strawberries.

Based in a prime location, Fire & Stone London is just 6 minutes’ walk from Leicester Square Tube station.

The service wasn’t great, especially since there were 3 other tables in the whole restaurant. Had to go out of our way to get someone’s attention to order another drink.
Check back was done once the food had already been finished.
My friends salad was served in a tiny bowl, difficult to manoeuvre, really bad choice of plating on that one. My pizza was quite bland.

Excellent thin-crust pizza. Very accommodating for children especially altering menu choices.

Made reservation for a pre theater dinner. Arrived on time and restaurant was practically empty but was seated all the way in the back. Asked if we can be seated at the booth (there were 4 of us) and was declined because all the booths in restaurant were reserved. Really? We had a reservation too. Chicken avocado salad was fresh and good. Pizzas were mediocre and pastas were way over cooked. Milk shakes were horrific. Tasted like “slim fast shakes”.Wait staff is nice although we never got our water. There were only 5 occupied tables when we were seated but the restaurant were full with theater customers by the time we left. Came here on a recommendation by a local Londoner but doubt we will be back.

The food was subpar and I didn’t appreciate having to outlay money beforehand.
