Really lovely meal. Found that the special menu options for main courses was better than the A-la- carte, but we were told that they were planning to fix this soon.
Venue was really nice, staff were great and food was delicious 10/10

It was a romantic dinner. The atmosphere was charming, the decoration perfect and the staff very friendly.

We had a lovely evening in the restaurant. Unfortunately the waiter mixed up my starter and I had to wait for a fresh one coming, which to be fair wasn't a long wait. Apart from that I have no complaints.

We were the only lunchtime customers, but that's probably attributable to both its newness and the fact it is not located in the busy retail or business areas of the city. Surroundings very new, smart and clean; service very good; food excellent too. Toilets a rather long trek down flights of stairs to a basement, but smart, clean and well designed when you eventually find them.

The staff were very welcoming on arrival. Table lovely and clean - nice flowers and candle on table. Food was excellent. Had the pre-theatre menu and good choice of food.

My mum and I ate here before going to the Edinburgh Playouse. The service was great, food great and value for money also very good.

Great place to eat before the theatre. I don’t think we got value for money by having the pre theatre menu. We had to send our starter salads back as it came without pecans. When we got them back we each had 2 pecans, so it wasn’t really worth sending it back for. The starter portion was also very small. Considering it was a salad we felt it could have been much bigger. We had expected bigger the salad to be bigger from the pictures on the Facebook page. Both dishes were very tasty but if we knew portion sizes would be smaller we would have chosen from the a la carte menu. Good meal but not exactly value for money. Despite these comments I would return. Service was great :)
