My friend and I had a reservation for a Saturday lunch. We opted for 2course each with bottle of wine @£35. The soup and meal were excellent. And not too filling. Service was excellent and area we were seated in was very relaxing.

A lovely room, cosy but not too chummy with neighbouring diners. Good atmosphere, modern, cool lines in placement and decor. Overall, a classy joint. We partook of the two courses each deal and at £35 including a bottle of wine was great value. Our starters were the ham hock terrine and the grilled halloumi, both perfectly pitched, tasty and very well presented. Mains were, moules frites and their version of coq au vin. Again both delicious and well presented. We shared a tarte ta tin with ice cream for pudding. It was a really good experience from start to finish. Will certainly go back and try the a la carte menu, sometime soon.

Lovely restaurant. Main courses weren’t great. I had the coq au vin which was tasteless, veg were hard except potatoes and chicken was so sparse. It was advertised as chicken thighs but I suspect they were wings! However apple tart Tatin with whisky ice cream was fabulous and we had a bottle of delicious Chardonnay!
