COSMO Derby

Last three times I have been, I can honestly say how downhill the Derby restaurant has fallen. Twice with my family and again with my wife on Valentine’s Day, all a bitter disappointment. I took my son on the 8th of May, he said he doesn’t want to go again, certain foods were cold, a lot not even put out. I asked the waiter 4 times if the Guinness was the Guinness lager, hothouse 13, he said yes four times. He brought me the normal Guinness, I said this is Ale not lager, he then went to get me a lager I never asked for, which was one I didn’t like so I left it on the table, told them I didn’t want it but they still charged me, also no apologies, even when a drink was spilled by a waiter on my son were no apologies giver.

This was my first visit, we booked for my mums 79th birthday. Thinking it would be a lovely night for mum to experience the different styles of foods. We were looking forward to the celebrations however the overall experience was so rushed that we couldn’t relax and enjoy it. We were only given an hour at the table. Almost an hours drive for us to get there ,we simply felt rushed. Mums 79 n not so good on her feet and she felt pressured into trying to speed up. Plates were taken even before we had emptied them. Cutlery taken from under us. Very disappointed. Rush rush rush.

The Indian section was scrumpy

Cant fault it, although it was very busy we were straight in, sat down, job done!

Lovely food, waiter very charming and welcoming.

Enjoyed the Indian curries.The shrimps were delicious.

The pudding range was not very good very limited amount of choice.
So disappointed with the ice cream machine not working again.

It was a birthday celebration which we all enjoyed thoroughly. It was on a Saturday so it was a little bit busy and rather noisy but we all had a very good time!

My party came for my hen night. The various choices of food made it an excellent choice for my friends with different food tastes to all enjoy their meals. Our waitress for the evening was excellent

All the food was amazing no faults except the ice cream machine wasn't working
