We went for the special deal which was 3 courses and a glass of champagne of arrival (which we had forgotten about), All good, service excellent, no veg or potatoes served with the meat, which was a bit peculiar to my thinking, didn't even see it as optional, but good quality and tasty. Didn't like the pud but that could just be my taste. I was told the strawberry tart was good though.

We much enjoyed the three-course set lunch menu with a glass of Champagne. The dining room is most attractive: square with well-spaced tables on the ground floor. The service was very pleasing and unobtrusive, the food very well presented and prepared and the whole experience most enjoyable. I would recommend it to discerning diners who like an attractive yet quiet venue in an agreeable part of Mayfair.

I had the set lunch menu, the food was well prepared but the main course red mullet was a very small portion. The digestive drinks were very expensive, the service was almost good but I was left needing the wine glass re-filling and water glass on more than one occasion although there was only one other table taken in the restaurant.I would have preferred the wine to be left on ice on or near my table as I find waiting for it to be brought over irritating.

Delightful staff, although the service was a little too swift. I would have preferred longer between courses. The food was excellent. The beetroot starter was out of this world and the raspberry tart was a thing of beauty.
