Inspired by the food and wine from two different cuisines – Italian and Spanish, Connubio offers a plethora of tantalising Mediterranean products and flavours. Many of the dishes are cooked in their special natural charcoal oven, obtaining a typical balanced smoky aroma with perfect texture and flavours.
The Connubio menu features a range of dishes with fresh, homemade pasta holding centre stage. Try tagliolini with king prawns, potatao gnocchi with tomato and mozzarella or lasagna with beef ragu. Other options include pan-fried calf’s liver with sautéed onions, grilled seabass fillet with green sauce or baked chicken stuffed with aubergine, tomato and basil.
An indulgent chocolate bomb or tiramisu rounds off the meal perfectly. The Connubio restaurant's wine list showcases a selection made from indigenous and a peculiar kind of grapes, making it biologic, biodynamic and organic.
Connubio in London's Muswell Hill is a 7-minute drive from East Finchley Tube Station.

An oasis of good food, matched wines and attentive service. Just what was needed after a hectic day exploring. Definitely on the 'must return' list

We had a lovey meal at Conubio di Fabio recently. The food was very good, especially the pasta and the service and atmosphere great. We will definitely go again!

Made to feel welcomed by the staff. The sommelier took time pearing our wines to the meal, did a good job, enjoyed the experience, although a little pricey.

Classic Italian and Spanish food cooked and presented to perfection. Portions were sensible which allowed us to sample right across the eclectic menu. Each dish had recommended wine selection; wines were very good quality from a glass through different carafe sizes to a full bottle. Service was attentive but not overpowering. 4 of us from 26 to 66 years old were happy as bunnies! The setting and ambience was perfect - close your eyes and you could have been in Italy. Half of us celebrating birthdays, no holds barred on food or wine all for happily under £200 but you could have easily eaten simply for £20 a head. Going back in two weeks time. Try it and you won't be disappointed!
