Comiols is located in Barcelona's Sant Gervasi district. It was opened in 2006 by Quim Hernández and Aglae Grande, who wanted to create an elegant but informal and very urban restaurant, where diners would be surrounded by works of art in a spacious and relaxed setting.
The cuisine at Comiols has traditional Catalan roots and does not follow modish fashions or trends. Its philosophy is based on sourcing the finest seasonal ingredients to create a varied menu with a distinctive modern style, treating produce with respect to preserve original flavours.
There is a good choice of carefully selected wines, cavas and sweet wines as well as some beautifully presented delectable desserts. All this, as well as the efficient but friendly service, help create a relaxed space where diners will feel at ease.
