Wine needs to be checked for drinkable. I think mine was ok, but my dates one was a little sour towards the end of glass. Steaks was good, the peppercorn sauce maybe a bit lighter on the salt but otherwise a tasty sauce. Triple cooked chips were good, nice and chunky. Service is generally good. The only other comment I have is the pricing, I think it’s a good deal with extended extended EOTHO £10 off per person. However, at full price I would pay particular attention to table detail. Maybe some garnishes alongside the steaks. I realise Hawksmoor does this in some of its steaks, but it makes a difference. I saw the porterhouse steak on the table next to me served on a chopping board and I think that is a nice touch.

Lovely steak place, have been here several times now and it never disappoints. Service is really friendly and attentive, but unobtrusive.

Fantastic service and great steak. Ambience could have been slightly better by adding table candles and music in the background.

Decent food, just the company held wasn’t the best - constant moaning from Lee before I’d even arrived really put me off!

Hello We came for bottomless brunch yesterday only to be disapppointed with a few things. I called up in the morning about the booking to provide more information as it was a birthday suprise, I was not told about the below during this call. We arrived and were seated to then be told they had run low on prosecco (one of the main drinks offered at the brunch) which I cannot understand. I booked it a month ago so they knew there was a brunch booking so why was enough prosecco not bought in? They did not offer us any substitute only the sangria and bloody mary already on the menu. The sangria was not very good quality and a different mix was used time which was inconsistant. There wasn't much in the way of an apology about the lack of prosecco. I then asked again and was told I could have one only to order it to be told by someone else I cannot have it? I could see a waiter walking around with prosecco so I couldn't work out why I couldn't have even a glass. The reason provided was poor - The prosecco they had left was for cocktails... They had also bought up the wrong dish which we complained about. It was bought back out but not all items were there. When this was questionned we were made to feel like we were wrong but when we showed the menu to the waiter he could clearly see items were not on the plate. This items came separately but again the wrong bread provided. When we ordered drinks they did not always get made and had to re ask for some. We also had to always ask for another drink which shouldn't be the case on a bottomless brunch. Drinks should be topped up as needed. No offer of compensation when the bill arrived.  All in all a very disappointing visit especially as it was a birthday suprise. I look forward to receiving your response.
