A cornerstone of the community for 200 years, Collingwood Arms Hotel offers gourmet British dishes and warm hospitality. During warmer weather, guests can enjoy sheltered al fresco dining in the restaurant’s picturesque garden.

Sourcing the finest local ingredients, the Collingwood Arms menu offers a daily-changing selection of seasonal dishes. Hearty Sunday roasts, local fish catches and premium organic meat cuts are served in abundance at The Collingwood in Cornhill-on-Tweed.

Upholding the region’s reputation for fantastic hospitality, the Collingwood bar in Northumberland is a relaxed hideaway serving local ales, fine wines and Scottish whiskies. This homely setting is filled with antique furnishings, warm ok and Persian rugs, and an open fire crackles in the winter.

Nestled in the heart of Northumberland and welcoming a clientele of walkers, fisherman, locals and tourists, The Collingwood Restaurant sits 0.5 miles south of the Scottish border.

We were a party of 4 for Sunday lunch, which we have previously enjoyed at the Collingwood. The hotel is now under new management. It was still a pleasant dining experience but lacked some of the finesse it used to have. The service was slow and the food average. For example, the "tian of hot smoked salmon" turned out to be a heap of hot smoked salmon flakes. Not a "tian" in anyone's book! The price was very reasonable, but it was not the experience we have been used to.
