Winning several awards within just a year of opening, including the Guild of Fine Foods Taste of Gold Award 2013 and 2014, Cocoa Cabana Chocolatiers in Didsbury serves a rich selection of handmade chocolates and sweet treats in its quaint tea room setting. Exquisite salted caramels and more can be bought for later from the on-site shop, while the café offers indulgent snacks and chocolate afternoon teas.

Run by Sarah Gallacher, who trained at the renowned Slattery’s Pattisier and Chocolatier, Cocoa Cabana in Manchester mixes traditional and experimental flavours in its truffles, chocolate shards and slabs, which come encrusted with berries, nuts and fudge pieces. The legendary gooey brownies are a favourite amongst returning customers, while divine chocolate cakes are handmade to order, and can be sampled by the slice.

These sugary delights can all be enjoyed in the Cocoa Cabana tea room, which comes with bright, floral china and is charmingly furnished with wildlife-patterned wallpaper. Guests can treat themselves to brownies, macaroons and speciality chocolate bars, each of which is complemented by the selection of fine coffees on offer.

A must-visit for chocoholics, Cocoa Cabana Chocolatiers in Manchester is just a 2-minute walk from Burton Road tram station

The afternoon tea was really good! Everything tasted amazing - my favourites were the scones with salted caramel sauce and clotted cream and the chocolate orange tarts. The portion sizes were generous and great value for money. I'll be booking again and I'm definitely going to recommend this place to my friends.

I thought the shop was very intimate and all the cakes and chocolates looked amazing. The afternoon tea was really nice and my friend enjoyed it as it was a special treat for her as she is having a baby soon. They also went to lots of effort to cater for my gluten free diet. Thank you very much.

The afternoon tea was lovely, we had unlimited coffee (any type) or tea with it. The selection of cakes were lovely and a pleasant service. I will definitely come back. I have been several times before trying out the selection of hot chocolate and loved them

Lovely afternoon tea. Quaint and intimate surroundings only 2 tables. Sandwiches were great and chocolate tart and brownies were truly fantastic

Gorgeous little chocolate shop housing the best afternoon tea I've ever had.
The sandwiches were fresh on delicious bread, scones were light, brownies immense and the tiny patisserie were beautiful.
