I visited with 3 other female friends, when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly young man but he kept calling us "guys" which happened numerous times!!!! even though we said we were not "guys" and didn't appreciate he still carried on. Other than that we were all very pleased with our meals and desserts, the young lady that served us again was very friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble.

Mid January and still playing Christmas songs. Very grating. Food OK, don’t bother with the expensive milkshakes. Club sandwich and burgers good. Garlic bread was like cardboard. Waiter was excellent. Use the Marina Gold card available as an app for 25% off Mon-Fri.

Food was below average. I understand it is not fine dining but this was just not worth the money! The potato skins which were meant to come with beef brisket had one small chunk of beef shoved on top and a small splash of bbq sauce? The peppercorn sauce with the steak made me cough where it was so vile and I wouldn't have paid more than a fiver for that steak. Lucky we had a money off voucher because there is no way those prices are justified by the quality of food !

The welcome was fantastic and we were clear about this being our first visit. Service was appalling. Took 25 minutes for our drinks order to be taken and then a further 35 minutes for our food order to be taken. Our starter came out and then after 35 minutes I found the manager who was hugely apologetic and informed us that our mains had not even been put forward. She was gracious and discounted our whole meal.

From the minute we walked in it was fantastic. The waiter was brilliant. Funny, attentive and hard working (was rushed off his feet). Food was wonderful. I realised I had left my glasses there when I got home and emailed them. Within 5 minutes they rang to say they had them in the office. I said I couldn't collect them as I live 2 hours away and they immediately said they would post them to me. What a wonderful restaurant with wonderful staff and wonderful food. Brilliant experience! As this was for my twins 21st birthday, I couldn't have asked for a better place.

It was very busy when we got there but we had reserved our table and were shown to it straight away The food was good, freshly coooed and well presented. Our waiter could have been more attentive but he was very busy. The only problem we had was paying the bill we couldn’t get anyone to take our money! Overall a lovely birthday meal.

We arrived early but that was not a problem for the staff. The restaurant, although busy, was comfortable and our seating area was nice. The staff were polite and helpful. Our meals were delivered at reasonable intervals and were well cooked and hot.

Food and welcome were good, what let down the whole experience was the slow service. We also felt that it was overpriced especially the milkshakes, delicious but the size was significantly smaller than GBK or Ed's whose shakes are also delicious. If you wanted to tempt us back C2C you need to up your game significantly.
