We have dined at The Coach House on previous occasions, normally for the Michael Caines dinners, which of course are superb as one would expect given Michael's wizadry in the kitchen alongside his Head Chef. The lunch experience was equally superb. From being greeted by the maitre d to all the restaurant staff the experience is excellent. The food was absolutely exquisite. The tastes the Head chef and his assistants put on the plates are hard to describe, presented beautifully and wonderful value for money. Top notch in all aspects.

AMAZING. I wish I hadn’t had table manners drummed into as a child as I wanted to lick the plate and kiss the chef!

It is a beautiful restaurant to dine in. The service was prompt but unobtrusive. The menu was excellent - I would gladly have eaten everything on it. The dishes we did have (a fish dish and roe deer) were superb, as were the starter courses. A genuine 5 star experience.

It was our son's 15th birthday lunch and he totally loved it. The food was delicious and the service impeccable - we'll definitely be returning for the next special occasion in our family calendar :)

Food well cooked and tasty. We had the vegetarian menu and were disappointed that there were only 2 options as opposed to 3 on the online sample menu. Overall the options were uninspiring. Soup and a vegetable wellington. Our local pub does this. The biggest problem was portion sizes. I know this is fine dining but the meals were far too small and if it wasn’t for the bread we would have left hungry after a 3 course meal. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable.

Once again we had a superb lunch with excellent service and ambience. The crispy ham hock was a triumph of taste and texture. Our only “disappointment” was a friend didn’t want a dessert but asked for the cassis sorbet which accompanied one of the desserts. She was presented with one spoonful and was charged a full dessert price. This was a bit mean.
