Great service, food is superb, Pea Panna-cotta was 'the' tastiest dish I have tasted for a long tie. Environment is perfect and very stylish without being stuffy.

I have already reviwed the restaurant on Trip Advisor so will simply paste my & my wife's comments here for you.
"Wonderful food and service. Faultless. One of the best fine dining experiences my wife and I have been lucky enough to enjoy. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting this area of Devon."
"Lovely atmosphere. Comfortable dining area. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. My food intoletances were confirmed as per our booking and I was told they would adapt anything on the menu which was a real treat.
We were shown to our spacious table and left to look through a vast drinks and wine menu. Cocktails were available and all prices were very reasonable. Al a carte menu and tasting menu both offered. The food was faultless and the most delicious I have ever eaten anywhere. I'm a good cook and constantly disappointed when eating out. This was such a lovely exception.
Being wheat and dairy intolerant desserts are always off the menu! However the chef had made me a dessert specially. Chocolate mousse with merigues and raspberry sorbet!! Absolutely divine. He even gave me the recipe as you wouldn't have believed it didn't contain any egg or wheat! Amazing. Was compelled to thank the chef James in person for all his trouble and for such brilliance. A very talented chef. The flavours of all his good were excellent. Fish cooked to perfection.
What a great find. We are on holiday but will definately return asap!
Good value for money as well for the quality of food and excellent friendly, helpful service.
    Fantastic place and fantastic staff."

We're always made extremely welcome and immediately relax when we get there. Cocktails in the garden before dinner. Perfect

Our evening at The Coach House at Kentisbury, with family visiting from South Africa, got off to perfect start with drinks served outside in the early evening sunlight. The selection of cocktails on offer caused a bit of dithering on our part, such was the choice. Dinner itself can only be described as exquisite. Each course was a delight to the eyes and a feast of amazing flavours. We all had scallops to start and they were excellent. We all managed to have a different main course, but each and every one was judged excellent. Dessert certainly didn't disappoint. Once again, all four of us were delighted with our choices. Service was attentive and extremely efficient. All in all, yet another amazing evening at The Coach House.

We had a really nice evening, service is amazing and the amostphere in the restaurant is really nice. The only problem was we have been telling mu sister how nice it is there and booked her this table as a birthday treat. She is 6 months pregnant and there was nothing on the menu she could have as it was only shellfish or goats cheese. There was a pigeon option and when she asked for this to be well done the response was 'sorry it won't taste nice well done' we love our food so can appreciate this response. However there was no option at all to accommodate a pregnant lady. She went without a starter and thought she would just get excited about the pudding. She chose the cococunt pannacotta which I also had. It was completely flat and really disappointing. The taste was nice and I understand fine dining but this was a little too much! My sister had to go home and have toast! I was really upset at this after spending nearly £300.
