Excellent food and service with friendly and professional staff. Perfect small portions on the set lunch menu which were delicious, beautifully presented and with enough choice to satisfy anyone. Bread rolls were slightly overbaked and the restaurant itself was a little cold. The smooth and tasty duck liver parfait and a variation of a Banoffi Pie were our favourites. Always a very high standard - we will return.

The staff were helpful and attentive and they had remembered and noted from my initial enquiry special dietary requirements for my wife and catered for these perfectly. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and is peaceful and quiet and the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon of great food and relaxation.

Superb food; excellent service; lovely surroundings (despite terrible weather).

Arriving at the Coach House it impresses you as a striking and tastefully executed conversion. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who did not rush us to our table, but suggested that we enjoy a drink in the sunshine. Once back inside we were shown to our plush seats around a table covered with crisp linen. Our order was taken and served to us promptly, but with time to take in the building and in particular the glass screens that allowed us to see into the kitchen, which all added to the sense of occasion. Our starter was quite simply delicious, with such an unusual combination of flavours and splashes of colour. The main courses were also wonderful combinations of tastes, textures and sensations. The only criticism was that the hake seemed to have been over-salted. The dessert really did finish off the meal, with such an unexpected intensity of flavour from the basil panna cotta that we both had. All of the dishes were beautifully presented and the service was attentive and efficient throughout. A wonderful dining experience!
