Great welcome at the beginning. Really nice meal card. Our Waitress was really helpfull and kind. The meal itself (beef and fish) was excellent. Perfect service!

High above Zurich, the great atmosphere at Clouds isn’t only due to the views, but to the guests, whose enjoyment for floating in the clouds is palpable.

Providing a unique dining experience, Clouds is Zurich’s latest five star restaurant, crowned in November 2012 by the Michelin Guide. Hailing from Barcelona, the head chef, David Martínez Salvany, can be found in the kitchen on the 34th floor. His dishes are then transported via a lift to the restaurant.

Similarly, Clouds' guests also make use of a lift in order to reach the high-flying restaurant, which soars in the clouds at more than 120 metres up. The reception awaits, directing guests to the Casual Dining Restaurant, the bistro or the bar.

Upon entering the Clouds Restaurant, you’re immediately struck by the spectacular view, overlooking both the railway tracks and downtown Zurich’s offices, with your gaze stretching right over the famous lake. The stylish white-covered tables standing beside the floor-to-ceiling windows are naturally the most sought-after spot. Light wooden floorboards and vanilla-coloured angular leather sofas dominate Clouds’ modern and chic interior. In front of panoramic views, Salvany’s fine dining couldn’t be more apposite.

The Clouds Restaurant is located next to the Hardbrücke station in the lively quartier of Zurich-West.

    Had business lunch menu but felt more like a dinner menu with the food perfectly matched for each course and an excellent wine reccomendation on top.

    Awkward service and feel of the restaurant itself. No background music playing which didn‘t seem to match the feel of the interior design. Food was tasty but over priced for the portion sizes. The view was great though. Overall it was okay.

    Imposante Location mit tollem Essen.
    Negativ: das Servicepersonal erkundigt sich allzu übereifrig nach dem Befinden und dem Essen.
    Hier wäre weniger sicherlich mehr

    The interior decoration, the general ambience and the stunning view were very nice. The waiter was really sympathic, friendly and occasionally funny. He forgot to bring the ordered Prosecco and brought the amuse bouche a second time, but it was not disturbing for us at all. As a starter my wife and me tried two soups, the lobster bisque with mango and tarragon and the creamy Parmesan truffle soup and aged balsamic vinegar. Both were very delicious and quite intense. After all it was maybe too much content, as we were too full to eat the full main-dishes (or the intense soups were still dominating our Body :)) As a main-dish we tried the black angus entrecôte Café de paris and the prime veal cutlet with sage butter. The meat was perfect, although the Café de paris entrecôte was again very intense. The Cironé potato gratin was very okay, but we already enjoyed better ones. Or maybe it is just a matter of taste, as we both prefer more creamy potato gratins. As there was no more place for a dessert, we finished a nice evening with a fantastic grappa (Marolo di Barolo), which was recommended by our waiter.
    All in all a very nice evening with high-quality food. Maybe the intensity of some plates were - although very interesting and declisious - slightly too much, at least compared to the quantity.
