Really delicious afternoon tea! We've managed to sit outside and enjoy our tea with an amazing view. Really good choice of scones and sweets

Both gluten free and standard afternoon tea were delicious. Service was very slow. Whilst the building is beautiful, the room in which rea was served felt dated, the tables are too low, not dining height, so you end ujp bending over to eat. I'll try somewhere else next time...

Did not get the "traditional" tea we booked for, it was not on the menu. Despite this it was very enjoyable. The room was lovely, although the table behind us had multiple phone conversations (loudly!) and had their phones going off constantly - didn't do much for the peaceful atmosphere.

A rather disappointing experience unfortunately. The canapés were dry and frankly awful, possibly sqeezy cheese, the scallops resembled sacks of frozen scallops you may find in Aldi and the main courses were over-cooked, tasteless and red hot so we assume they were either pre-made and kept hot under severe heat or possibly microwaved! The desserts were the best year but only really because the rest was so poor.
I feel this restaurant is for those unfamiliar with fine dining but wanting to feel as though they are.....
We have certainly crossed it from our list I'm afraid.

All restaurant staff were very efficient and helpful. We loved the way we were seated in the lounge, served canapes, ordered our food and wine and then were taken down to our table where our drinks were waiting for us. The food was of the highest quality and was a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds.

Two of us had afternoon tea at Bailbrook House, Bath. The setting was gorgeous, the room was sumptuous, and the 'tea' was delicious. The staff were attentive without being obsequious - it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
