We've always meant to go to Clarke's. It does not disappoint Delicious, refined, wonderful to look at, elegant food. Attentive service, fabulous bread. Overall an extremely pleasant dining experience.

Clarkes has always been our favourite restaurant when we were living in London. It has been a while since our last visit but it was as good as we remembered it even after such a long time. The atmosphere was cosy with excellent staff service, they were very attentive but not intrusive and always carried nice smiles. I was glad to bring our good friends there to try and they were very impressed. We chose from a la carte and I had the chargrilled veal which was so tasty. We all enjoyed our starters, mains and desserts, quality of food was delicious, portion was just right and nice presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will definitely return again.

A delightful restaurant filled with good food and chatter. Lunch set menu was an asparagus salad starter and a delicious duck breast main. Tip - for an extra £2 take the a la carte dessert choice. The dining room is not huge; there were plenty of staff in attendance including the owner.

Lovely dining room, super decor. Spacious with an attractive outlook to a lit garden. Staff excellent and not over attentive---a definite plus for me!! All our choices of food were choices that we would order again (our measure of great food!) and in particular the Soufle Suissesse was outstanding. The only slight disappointment--no Tanquery gin!!
