The choice available on the spa menu is very limited. It seems they offer the cheapest possible food for customers that are on spa days. The portion that arrived was disappointingly small and was incredibly salty. We ended up ordering extra food. Having already spent £140 on a spa we were disappointed to have to order £20 more on lunch. There is no table service and the food and drink were both slow to arrive.

We had the picnic. Thankfully because it was raining outside they let us eat it inside. It was well presented and tasted nice, possibly a bit costly for what it was. The service couldn't be faulted, staff were friendly and helpful.

Location is beautiful! The food was really lovely and staff friendly. However, the service was incredibly slow. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our drinks after ordering and this happened both times we ordered drinks. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend but I would inform them the service may not be as quick as they may wish. I had read reviews that the service was slow so ordered 2 drinks in the first instance just in case!

We weren't able to actually dine here as although your website allowed us to book a table for 9pm the kitchen closed at 8pm. Incredibly disappointing and left the restaurant staff concerned about the online booking service as it should not have allowed a table to be booked after 7.45pm. Thankfully they were brilliant and have given us a complimentary meal to come back with Prosecco. We did have to go and eat elsewhere in the end.

Food was nice enough, service was really poor which was such a shame as it's such a nice venue. The staff were in interested an not very helpful. The tea and the food had obviously been sat a while before they were brought out would definitely not go again.

Food was average. Slow service. Waited a good 15/20 minutes before even getting our drinks. The afternoon was 'okay.' Nothing special.

The service was poor. The staff were not attentive. My party had to wait over 5 minutes before anyone approached us to ask if we needed help. We were not offered a variety of teas with our afternoon tea, just tea or coffee. Atfer the food was brought out we didn't see a member of staff for the next 2 hours we were there apart from when we went looking for someone for more tea. Very disappointing and not what i have come to expect from previous visits.
