Lovely outdoor seating. We had the salmon and the pork belly and they were both delicious

Disappointing very ordinary uninspiring food. We had the mere which was just like shop bought and far too cold. The mackerel salad was a simple piece of mackerel on top of a few dressed leaves with vacuum packed beetroot.

Good size portions, and nicely presented. Very attentive staff. I found the mushroom aricini a bit rich. Could only eat half, think it would make a better starter, smaller size. The sauce was too heavy. My friend like the duck salad, and there wAs plenty of meat.

We were seated at possibly the best table in the restaurant, in the bay of the window. The service was very friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The food was well presented, fresh and tasty. of particular note was the exceptional service we received from your waitress Caitlin, she was patient, attentive, smily and knowledgable about the menu.

We had the afternoon was ok.. I would have preferred the tea or coffee in a pot but it came by the cup...which leaves you having to 've asking 'excuse me can I have another cup of coffee'... Which makes you feel greedy..the choice of sandwich fillings were obscure...falafel...which basically a chick pea sandwich...quacamole...which is a dip sandwich..cheese with some sort of red sauce...i wasn't really impressed ..but the redeeming thing were the scones they were to die for...i wish I'd just had a couple of scone as a cream tea...but then again I'd probably only still got a cup of tea...i wouldn't order the afternoon tea again...what happened to egg or ham sandwiches..the food coming out from the restaurant looked nice enough...

Food was nice when it arrived but very slow service. It was 40 minutes before we got a drink and in the end we went up to the bar to order drinks as nobody came to our table to take the order. It was so hot and sunny in the conseratory area that it was uncomfortable to sit in there and we were blinded by the sun. Other people were moving tables too. It was a January day so not the height of summer. Would be good if there were some blinds in there.
