City Limits has been established in the Spitalfields area of East London for over 23 years. A family-run business, it has also had the same chef for that time. He must be doing something right as his cooking has been praised by critics and public alike. The ground-floor bar leads downstairs to the quieter Victorian restaurant which is themed in creams and browns, with open beams and prints lining the walls. The restaurant menu is eclectic, offering dishes such as catfish with lemon, lime and ginger butter, the feta club burger and chicken stuffed with Welsh rarebit. The wine list is exceptional and at just under £55 per person for a three-course meal, this is a local secret that everyone's talking about.
