Found on the fringes of iconic Spitalfields Market, Cinnamon Kitchen has a reputation as one of the best contemporary Indian restaurants in London. Dine at the sophisticated Cinnamon Kitchen counter bar, sample delights from the specialist sizzling tandoori grill or eat at the slick outdoor terrace, popular for year-round al fresco dining.

Showcasing artistic presentation, The Cinnamon Kitchen menu reveals decadent modern Indian creations like caramelised ox cheek with date and apricot sauce, aubergine and masala peanut crumble or Scottish lobster momo’s with tomato and curry leaf.

From acclaimed TV chef Vivek Singh, Cinnamon Kitchen London is sister restaurant to the highly acclaimed Cinnamon Club in Westminster. The plush Anise bar has a regal air, where you can sample grazing platters and vibrantly spiced cocktails with exotic flavours, adorned with delicate flower petals.

Fusing funky, contemporary design with traditional Indian textiles, Cinnamon Kitchen Bishopsgate is housed in a theatrical warehouse setting. Liverpool Street Rail Station is just a 3-minute walk away.

Cinnamon Kitchen is a favourite of mine but the first time for my two friends. We all enjoyed the lovely food and the service was great too. We even chose an evening when it wasn't raining in London for a change and sat outside on the decking. All in all a wonderful evening.

We were a group of 15 out for a birthday dinner. The service was impeccable, we did not feel rushed at all. Very attentive and impeccable food. Definitely recommend!!

Excellent restaurant. Very good service from polite and knowledable waiters. We chose the fixed price lunch which was very good value for the cost. The a la carte would have been pricey. The selection under the fixed price meal was limited, but adequate. Standards of cooking and presentation were also excellent..

Excellent value for money. We had the street food and salmon for starters. Street food full of flavours whilst the popcorn gave a crunchy texture to the salmon. Follow by the lib biryani and monkfish. Very well cooked. Only slight criticism is that the portion of lamb i got was abit to much for me !

It was buzzy and there was a lively atmosphere. I had been to Cinnamon Kitchen a year ago and had been very impressed. This time, while the food was still tasty and original, it felt a little as if the formula was being exploited. It was slightly less fresh, some of it seemed to be reheated. Maybe already starting to rest on its laurels. Overall a good - not great - experience. And definitely overpriced for what we got.
