We've been to this restaurant a few times because the food is consistently delicious. Great for sharing; love all the chaat dishes especially. Cocktails are also good, great for a pre theatre dinner. Because the restaurant is long and narrow tables are quite close together and you have to squeeze through if you're sitting at the wall (I'm 5 ft 6 and size 10 so not massive) it also means it's hard to tune out your neighbour's conversation which is ok generally but not great when you're eating and they're talking about infected piercings. Service is fine for a busy Covent Garden restaurant. It's not overly attentive or especially friendly but it's what you get in most places in the area.

Have loved it in the past. Fell out of love with it on Saturday. The staff were lovely. The food disappointing. They were very busy. So victims of their own success?

The Crab starters were amazing and double roasted pork for the mains stood out all topped off with a lovely Chai Masala

The booking experience was excellent very fast and confirmation reminders left no doubt about the booking. The restaurant was light and airy and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent we had the sharing 9 course meal and every course was excellent , having previously eaten at the cinnamon club we preferred this meal. We will return.

The chicken pitta was hot and lovely but the shepherds pie (whilst their signature dish) was dry at best. Average dinner but good service!

Excellent food but average service. We have appreciated the visit of the owner to our table for a chat.
