Experience of dining was average. Food was good-I had Rogon Josh shepherds pie and my wife had Tandoori King Prawns-our meals were accompanied by house black dal and stir fried vegetables-well cooked and generally good. We pre-booked and visited early Saturday evening. The restaurant was very busy and our small table for two was cramped. Another table adjacent to ours was being made up for a large party at the time that we were eating our meal-one of the chairs next to the large group table was almost touching our table-I discussed above with our waiter who was courteous and helpful and he asked us whether we wanted to speak to the manager which we did-manager arrived and said very little-she was not courteous-but chair was moved!

Food was fantastic however front of the house staff seemed more interested in turning over tables and her rushed manner took the shine off the whole experience. Perhaps it was the Friday night busy hour that places too much pressure on staff - though why not increase staff for known busier times to help keep service smooth? After being rushed through dessert we ended up having to ask for our bill 3 times before it was produced which spanned about 15 minutes and then waited over 10 minutes for the card machine to make its way to our table. Recommend the food - service needs to be better.

Good, exciting food, lots of different flavours. Plenty to eat and reasonable value. The included cocktail was a choice from a list. Nice atmosphere. Overall a good experience. Only hiccup was that when we arrived we were not given a copy of the menu/deal we had booked so were confused but this was soon resolved and we were given the tasting menu.

Have been dining in Indian restaurants for a long time, but the dishes presented here are very different from what you would find elsewhere and the results are astonishingly good (don't miss the Jodhpuri chat). Have to try the flagship Cinnamon.

This is a fabulous Indian restaurant with a difference. We were a table of 6 and ordered the hot and cold chaat selections to start - the flavours were incredible. The various mains we had were perfect and delicious, not huge portions but certainly plenty to eat. The service was excellent, helpful and attentive as this was a pre-theatre dinner. We will definitely return and spend more time in this lovely jewel of a restaurant!
