Very different from the Cinnamon Club! Very casual, tables not set - cutlery and paper napkins in a jug. Warm welcome, opted for nine course taster menu including a cocktail. Long wait for cocktail. The starter were unusual and delicious, chicken wings very hot.
The shepherds pie , Cod and prawns that followed were delicious, as was the carrot and toffee pudding and clove ice cream. Flavours of every dish were unique and well blended. Waiter a little distracted.

We had the 9 course tasting menu for lunch. Beautiful food and lots of it. Great service too.

We went for the 9 course taster menu. Loved all the dishes, however we couldn't do justice to the last three; cod, shepherds pie and prawn because we had filled up on the previous 6 dishes. If we go again we would request the last 3 dishes be served first.

Really great food, amazing value! Awkward service. We could sense there was internal tension amongst staff.

Loved the decor and busy busting atmosphere in this place. The aromas hit you as soon as you walk in. Felt very authentic as if I was back in India for a moment.
Waiters were friendly and helpful (even though they forgot one starter dish). Lovely flavourful food. Usually Indian restaurants are a bit 'meh' being indian and eating it at home daily (LOL) but this place was impressive. Bit pricey overall.

I've dined in this beautiful restaurant twice now. The first time I came I ordered a selection of started and desserts, followed by tea. This time round I did the 3 courses meal. I must say the mains were not as impressive as the starters which are go die for, however it was pleasant.
Lovely staff, great ambience, really authentic Indian flavours.

We've been to this restaurant a few times because the food is consistently delicious. Great for sharing; love all the chaat dishes especially. Cocktails are also good, great for a pre theatre dinner. Because the restaurant is long and narrow tables are quite close together and you have to squeeze through if you're sitting at the wall (I'm 5 ft 6 and size 10 so not massive) it also means it's hard to tune out your neighbour's conversation which is ok generally but not great when you're eating and they're talking about infected piercings. Service is fine for a busy Covent Garden restaurant. It's not overly attentive or especially friendly but it's what you get in most places in the area.

Have loved it in the past. Fell out of love with it on Saturday. The staff were lovely. The food disappointing. They were very busy. So victims of their own success?
