Restaurant description

Conjuring the food and atmosphere of its sister restaurant in Rajasthan, but with a distinctly contemporary twist, Chokhi Dhani offers an exceptional Indian dining experience. There is a laidback, street food-style approach on the ground floor and a more regal ambience upstairs, while an awe-inspiring, life-size bronze elephant acts as focal point.

The Chokhi Dhani menu is bursting with the textures and flavours of the subcontinent, and evokes an immersive and multi-sensory experience. Creative signature dishes take inspiration from an ancient, princely homeland, and include aromatic chicken thighs with red quinoa, mango paneer, and cod tikka.

Chokhi Dhani restaurant in Battersea also offers a tranquil terrace, complete with a shisha menu and a playful house cocktail list. Sip on the gin, ginger and lychee-based Jaipur Fizz, or a coconutty Pani Colada.

The dining room at Chokhi Dhani in London is a celebration of local culture and artistry, with bespoke, hand-crafted artefacts, chunky wood furnishings and elaborately upholstered booths found throughout. Battersea Park Train Station is a 10-minute walk away.

Dishes displayed on a la carte menus are representative of the type of food available at the restaurant.

Was surprised to see it in an office block. Some more authentic decor would be good. I felt it was too bright which effected the ambience. The drinks and mains were good. Had chilli chips for starter £7.00. I would recommend they take this off the menu. They were basically fries that were soggy and looked red. Probably a cost value if about 15p. Other than that the food was tasty

So for starters the aloo tikki was good.. drinks were good and the person who took the order for the drinks was good. But the person for serving our mains was not at all friendly.. i camewith two other girls and He kept coming and asking us are you done... so he can take the plates away.. we wanted to stay for longer and order more but because he kept rushing us... to finish as soon as possible we did not like his behaviour at all .. on top that the restaurant was empty so we did not understand why he rushed us so much. At the end the person who took our bill was nice to us... but the one for our mains and troughout our main course rushed us we weren't really satisfied with the mains (rajasthani thali we had). Starters were relly good and the drinks but because we were rushed we didnt get to try the nice mains.

Great food, burst of flavors! Mango lassi could have been somewhat larger size for the price paid, but taste was excellent.
