Visited Chiquito twice in the same week, on both occasions the hospitality and friendliness of the staff made you feel welcome and relaxed. Although the steak was a little well done on the first visit this was more than made up for in the Jambalaya on the second visit which more than expected in flavour and amount. The only down side was the poor selection of deserts.

We booked a table for 6 for saturday evening and it was the worst service ever in all my 57 years of Dining out and I am speaking for the other 5. We were left to ask for everything, ie drinks on all occasions, table clearing was the worst. Even after the drinks eventialy arrived and the waiters seeing all messy plates they left all pots from starters for an hour after we finished and we still had to ask for them to be cleared. After they was cleared the main meal was around 55 mins later and 2 meals were only Luke warm and were sent back for 're heating. After that we asked for the bill which we recieved a 50% discount. We left after around 2.5 hours in the restaraunt without having a sweet and left no tips. I will never recommend the restaurant and never go there again.

The atmosphere is very good with the decor and music. We had the set menu which worked for us however this menu was not originally offered to us it was only through bookatable that we knew it existed. My knife and fork needed to be changed twice as it was dirty each time and the table was sticky. It did not feel clean at all. The menus had food on them. This made me weary for eating my food.

Rachel was fantastic but pretty poor show by management. She had far too many tables to look after in her station. Our food was sat on the pass as I walked past to go to the toilets. She physically couldn't get there as she hadn't so much to do. Food was great when it arrived, tasted and looked good. Would return in the future.

The restaurant was very busy all evening so would recommend booking. We visited Manchester in January 16 this restaurant was fully booked and we struggled to find somewhere to eat on the Saturday night so this year we booked ahead. We weren't disappointed the food ans service was excellent
