Clearly short staffed, as only one member of staff was working the whole of the upstairs, but that one member of staff was brilliant! she was great fun and made sure night out very enjoyable.

The food is great but the service here was incredibly spotty. There was no one doing front of house/waiting area meaning that even though we had reserved a table we were hanging around waiting to get someone's attention to show us to our seats. This was only 5/6 minutes thankfully but God knows how long the family in front of us had been there for. It doesn't set a good first impression when no one even acknowledges you and the you have to tell a waiter passing that you made reservations while you stand around by the door.
I had to make requests for little things like ketchup and a desert menu to multiple members of staff as it became abundantly clear that the waitress had forgotten as did the waiter after that after her waiting for nearly 10 minutes. It took signaling who I presume was the manager at the time to get one and then to actually order a desert. Which was then promptly forgotten about when it hadn't arrived after nearly 20 minutes yet the orders of families who had arrived after us had. So the. We asked the manager who took our order if there was a problem. And he walked back into the kitchen and brought it out. So to be clear the food that comes out from the back of the kitchen and then to I guess the chefs at the back of the room who get it ready for the waiters to take to the tables. The fact that's the manager was able to go straight back in and get it ready made, means that our desert was made and hanging around in the back for God knows how long and someone forgot to take it out.
I would be completely understanding of this if the restaurant was busy but there were loads of empty tables around us. It also doesn't help that I heard the manager next to us telling a waitress that's she needed to pay more attention.
I've been to this particular Chiquitos before and had genuinely great service so I will put this down to perhaps them being understaffed but still a throughly disappointing experience. The good is still amazing though.

I reserved online and requested a table outstde which due to the Justin Timwrlake concert was very busy, however they did have a table for us after a very short wait. Food, cocktails and service was all great, it all added to an amazing evening out at the O2.

Table was booked for 19:00 & we were seated at 19:20, so a little bit of a wait in a very crowded entrance despite having pre-booked.
90% of the staff were non-communicative, bordering on avoidant, not one smile amongst them, sadly! Our drinks arrived once our food was 3/4 of the way through. Food took an ‘ok’ time to arrive considering how busy it was on a
Saturday evening. One main was delivered with a considerable wait before the 2nd person’s main arrived, meaning we either left the first main to get cold or we both ate separately! We asked 3different members of staff, including the manager, about a side order that hadn’t arrived. Then 2 portions arrived at the end of the meal. I asked the manager to remove the cost of the side order from the bill which she did. Service was slow overall & there seemed to be minimal staff available, all of which were curt in response to our polite requests. Restaurant was noisy and cramped, not a pleasant or relaxing experience.

Booking service good. However, I was deeply disappointed with the dining experience. Our drinks order was taken promptly, but we had to wait until we were half-way through our meal to receive the drinks, and only once I had asked for the. My meal, rib-eye steak, was dry and barely warm as were the onion rings and french fries. Very poor for £19. The staff did 'comp' the drinks without prompting.
The fittings of the restaurant are clearly rustic. The men's toilet cubicles need attention, skirting was coming away from the wall, and the lock had been fitted by an amateur. There is a big difference between rustic and poorly put together.
The staff were helpful and friendly but not particularly effective.
