The restaurant was clean. The staff was fantastic at keeping the table clear, especially as there was lots of us. The food was lovely with plenty of choice.

A unique, themed restaurant inside the Chessington Azteca Hotel, Temple Restaurant & Bar is an interactive buffet dining experience for the whole family. Stone carvings and jungle-like décor throughout the restaurant give it a real whimsical feel, and there is al fresco seating.

The Temple Restaurant & Bar menu is packed with a great variety of recipes, with something to please every taste. Classic pasta dishes include spaghetti bolognaise, there is tender rotisserie chicken, as well as roast beef, and grill items like gammon steak.

Fun additions for dessert at Temple Restaurant & Bar Chessington include the self-serve ice cream machines, with a great selection of toppings. There is also fresh fruit, and a wide variety of drinks from the bar, including beers, wines and spirits for the adults.

A fun spin on family dining, Temple Restaurant & Bar is a 6-minute drive from Chessington South Rail Station.

Food for the adults was bland and not too much choice but for the children it was excellent and lots of choice, the restaurant itself was very dark so it was hard to see what your eating, also the music at times was very loud so hard to hear each other speak, it wasn't a bad experience but it has some improvements to make

Very basic menu for evening meal. Only three set meals, so if your a fussy water then your screwed.

What a lovely restaurant, the food was lovely. I do love a good buffet means you can get what you want. Really delicious food very good value for money. Only issue the tribal music that played every so often was a little loud and I liked the flashy lights as it added to the Aztec theme and atmosphere but I think they need a sign up to make sure they don’t set anyone with epilepsy off.

Food wa great the first night we went but second night was a bit of let down. Same foods as before and the ice cream station has less things than first night.

We loved the ant and piranha tanks and the theming was incredible. Great magical atmosphere with the lights and 'rain'. The curry choices were the best off the buffet, the fish cakes were delicious and shouldn't be just for the children! Puddings were lovely, real jellies and nice mousses and cheesecake squares.

Great atmosphere, generally good selection, poor choice in skinned fries, poor choice fro brioche for bread selection but staff accommodated normal bread from the kitchen, corn on cob overly burnt and lifeless, curry good drinks and ice creams very good, no ants in the feature wall, good but rather repetitive tv themed wall experience.

Great family buffet restaurant. Would have been better if there had been different choices on the second night.

We very much enjoyed the food at the family friendly buffet. However there was a strange cleaning solution smell that did put us all off our food a bit
