The restaurant was clean. The staff was fantastic at keeping the table clear, especially as there was lots of us. The food was lovely with plenty of choice.

A unique, themed restaurant inside the Chessington Azteca Hotel, Temple Restaurant & Bar is an interactive buffet dining experience for the whole family. Stone carvings and jungle-like décor throughout the restaurant give it a real whimsical feel, and there is al fresco seating.

The Temple Restaurant & Bar menu is packed with a great variety of recipes, with something to please every taste. Classic pasta dishes include spaghetti bolognaise, there is tender rotisserie chicken, as well as roast beef, and grill items like gammon steak.

Fun additions for dessert at Temple Restaurant & Bar Chessington include the self-serve ice cream machines, with a great selection of toppings. There is also fresh fruit, and a wide variety of drinks from the bar, including beers, wines and spirits for the adults.

A fun spin on family dining, Temple Restaurant & Bar is a 6-minute drive from Chessington South Rail Station.

Simple, limited choices of food but friendly staff. The music sometimes got a little too loud for my liking.

The food was pretty good but the place felt grubby. The floor was not at all clean and the areas around the food were messy. The bar was a joke. There was only one barman who was extremely slow. He couldn’t find any pint glasses at first and tried to get me to buy bottles instead! Some serious work needed here.

Food was ok. Not much choice
But cheaper than the other place. Desserts better. Soup in April was apparently carrot, we went in June and still carrot!! Rude staff

Nice set up for dining with kids, lots of choice and fun surroundings but the food (despite the range of choice) was bland particularly given the price (seemed expensive for the quality).

Not a lot of choice for the adult. Was curry or roast.

Very noisy and lighting far too low the feeling was eat quickly and get out asap
    Average food
only a mix of frozen veg with roast meat

Food for the adults was bland and not too much choice but for the children it was excellent and lots of choice, the restaurant itself was very dark so it was hard to see what your eating, also the music at times was very loud so hard to hear each other speak, it wasn't a bad experience but it has some improvements to make

Very basic menu for evening meal. Only three set meals, so if your a fussy water then your screwed.

What a lovely restaurant, the food was lovely. I do love a good buffet means you can get what you want. Really delicious food very good value for money. Only issue the tribal music that played every so often was a little loud and I liked the flashy lights as it added to the Aztec theme and atmosphere but I think they need a sign up to make sure they don’t set anyone with epilepsy off.
