    service slow
    air conditioning fierce
    meal not piping hot
    sticky toffee pudding stodgy
dissappointing as had eaten there a few weeks earlier and meal was excellent
    an off day? staff shortage?

Lovely meal, had the mixed starter for 2, the papaya salad took me back to Thailand!! The pad Thai was lovely too, had the mixed dessert of mango sticky rice and pandan pancake. Wasn't keen on the pancake but the pandan custard tasted just right!! Staff were attentive and the setting was perfect. Would go again... And again!!!

I have dined at Chaophraya in Manchester many times, enjoyed countless meals and experienced the best of Thai cuisine. However, this last occasion I would describe as simply 'nice'. While the food was ok, I found the whole experience pleasant but missing its usual allure. That said, I would still return and recommend to friends to give Chaophraya a try - and hopefully catch it at its best.

Honestly been here before and loved it that's why I suggested this to my partner , sadly on this occasion I was far from impressed service was poor and food well I had better at local takeaway . Lady pretty much threw are mains at us we were not asked if we wanted refreshments during meal . Just disappointed won't be returning

Enjoyed the food. However the service let it down. We was in a rush to go to a concert and there was staff everywhere but no one attended to us so we had to go to the bar.

    Positives:
Good food. I had the lamb curry and my wife had Chicken Pad Thai. Both servings where just enough and tasted well.
The waitor was friendly, and the house wine was very good.
    Negatives
We had too wait 25-30 mins for our reservation, which was a bit strange considering there was only two of us, and the place wasnt that packed.
