Let’s start with the positives - the food was excellent and good value. However I could not recommend this restaurant to anyone because of the attitude of the staff. We were hoping to have a lazy afternoon here drinking champagne and eating cheese. But after our sharing board we were told the chef had left and that “ you don’t want anything else do you! “ this was only 3pm and they don’t actually close until 10pm. Such a disappointment we didn’t get try the different cheeses.

Really lovely restaurant. Our daughter had purchased a voucher and we had no idea what to expect. We were greeted immediately and shown to our table. The menu was inviting and there was plenty to choose from. We ordered a gastro board and a baked Camembert which were both wonderful. I’m not a charcuterie fan but one of the meats was delicious (my husband managed the rest). We also had a bottle of the house champagne which was also excellent. My only criticism would be that there are no french beers on the menu.

We had a great time in this little bijoux restaurant. Service was good and staff very friendly. We had a cheese platter which was most enjoyable, although slightly bigger portion would have been nice. The baked cheese was good too.
