Chamberlain’s of London is a fish and seafood restaurant located in the heart of the City. The restaurant is unique in that it is owned by a fourth generation of fishmongers, Chamberlain & Thelwell, from Billingsgate Market who also supply many of London’s top restaurants.
Located in the famous Victorian Leadenhall Market, which offers a terrace fully covered by the beautiful and ornate roof, Chamberlain’s of London prides itself on serving the freshest seafood directly from boat, to Billingsgate Market, to kitchen, to plate.
Using this exceptional produce, their talented team of chefs, led by Executive chef Andrew Jones, create dishes that reflect nature’s harvest from around the British Isles. Menu highlights include Chamberlain’s famous Dover Sole from Brixham served on or off the bone, grilled, pan-fried or poached in Champagne sauce.
Bank, Monument and Fenchurch Street train stations are all a short walk away.

Food was great. Halibut & Skate cooked perfectly. Being picky, the pork belly (with the Scallop starter) needed longer cooking to be super tender.
Restaurant could do with looking a little smarter, including how the staff were dressed. Service was good - just the right level of attentiveness. -

I would highly recommend Chamberlain's. The food was excellent, the biggest and best tiger prawns we've seen since we were in Mauritius. The ambience and setting of the venue were great, set inside one of London's oldest markets. Finally the service, as with everything else about the evening, this was superb. I feel that I should say something negative, to give the review some balance, but there really was nothing to fault.

Great restaurant, excellent fish.
I had delicious monkfish, my mum had the sea bass. Both were beautifully cooked.
£75 for 2 people, with just water, 2 mains, 2 sides and coffee means it was pricey. -

Service at the restaurant was extremely slow ( previous occasions has been fine as we have always dined downstairs), food was luke warm and the coke lacked fizz. The second coke was without ice and was only 3/4 full. Is this because the ice was excluded?

Booked 3 course Groupon deal - the food was fantastic for the price we paid. The service was also excellent and one waiter couldn't have done more to help with my gluten free request. Would go again.
