We were getting together for a surprise 50th Birthday. It was perfect. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful, tea kept flowing! Food was delicious. Scones were especially delicious! I have since recommended it to loads of people. Fantastic!

Very welcoming and perfect service. The meals from the lunch menu were delicious and good value for money considering the high quality of the dishes. A very good experience.

I liked the reusing of the water bottles but just watch that they are polished to the same standard as the rest of the restaurant.

Excellent service, outstanding cakes, excellent sandwiches, superb scones/cream/jam, very good teas, and a lovely outdoor location with a huge canopy, covering a small garden area. Delightful.

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon tea. The food and service was excellent. The only thing that let it down was the fact that we were seated in what was quite obviously a conference room, a floor up from the main dining area. It was far too big for our party of 9 (it could have seated double that number comfortably) and lacked any ambience. Such a shame as we were initially seated at a lovely cosy oval table but were asked to move as I think the waiter had made a mistake?Considering we booked a while in advance, I was surprised we could not be accommodated in the main dining room. It was booked to celebrate family 50th and 80th birthdays so disappointing considering it was such a special occasion.
