Just off the famous Carnaby Street in the secluded Courthouse Hotel, The Carnaby Restaurant serves lunch, dinner and afternoon tea in a relaxed setting. A grill menu and British and Mediterranean comfort food are the staples of this Soho brasserie.

Guests can sample Spanish paella, snack on an indulgent club sandwich, or treat themselves to the British roast platter – roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, jus, roast potatoes and sautéed vegetables. Burgers, wraps, steaks and pasta dishes are also available. Desserts include cinnamon and apple crumble cake with custard, chocolate fondant with clotted cream, and baked cheesecake.

The Carnaby Restaurant on Great Marlborough Street is a stylish but cosy venue, with chocolate brown furnishings and tall windows. The hotel is steeped in history and the building has countless tales to tell of London’s past.

In one of London’s most vibrant areas, The Carnaby Restaurant is a 4-minute walk from Oxford Circus Tube Station.

It was a terrible service, we were using Tastecard and the waiter told us that we must order a 2 course meal to be eligible for a discount. We were not that hungry. The restaurant was empty also, so we left.

According to the restaurant, there was nor record of the booking. As a result that did not know if the kitchen was prepared. we were the only people in the restaurant. We left and found an alternative review.

Booked as a special offer for Feast London. Good value deal. Food very good but restaurant and service were disappointing. We were asked to produce a voucher on arrival by a confused waitress. We had to ask for a wine list. Waiter then had to come back and check what wines we wanted. Had to chase. When they finally arrived were given white instead of red. One of our meals was incorrect so had to wait for new dish. Then had to wait ages for pre-ordered desserts. There was only our table and one other so not much atmosphere - and no excuse for slow service. Lighting also very bright for evening dining. Shame ad it was good location. Wouldn't go back.

Food delicious but poor service. The staff just didn't seem aware of customers and, despite the fact that the brasserie was really quiet, were not very efficient.

The food were great - the service NOT good - we asked for a doggy bag which we got, BUT there was no marmelade ( there were 2 that we haven't used) to our scones, but butter which we didn't wanted, also the sandwiches that we didn't wanted either were in the basket.
So that experience was no go, sorry
