We booked the set lunch deal with bookatable, £14.95 for 2 courses...great value, the food was brilliant, with plenty of choices too. Fishcakes were excellent as was the belly pork. If we wanted to mix and match with the main menu then they were happy for us to pay the difference. They offered iced tap water at no charge and we had a bottle of Gavi de Gavi at £32, very good restaurant price and a lovely wine. Booked online, dead easy and all in all a great experience, would definitely recommend this restaurant and will certainly go back.

We had lunch, food was great but service was very rushed even though the restaurant was very quiet. I had eaten there before and really enjoyed it which is why I booked it for my wife, she was disappointed with the speed of service, if we hadn't taken our time would have been in and out in under an hour!

This was disappointing. The food was okay but the service was arrogant and unobservant.

The service was good; the wine list of course excellent; the ingredients were also very good. The main course was spoiled by poor cooking: the "medium-rare" steak was very well done and the halibut overcooked, chewy and dry.
