Great change of pace in London. Food was excellent. Get the house made guac for sure.

The food as always was very very good. But the service was pretty dire this time. Didn’t take our order for 45 mins...didn’t clear the table, took ages to serve dessert. Would still go again but I would hope for £30 service charge that was added to the bill that they would be better next time. Also the new decor lends to really echo-y ambience.

Fourth time I’ve been to this restaurant. Wasn’t as good as past experiences
We were sat by a front window and it felt draughty.
Food was ok but barely warm. Certainly not to the high standard I’ve had previously. Felt as though we were being rushed through the meal by the waiter. Not sure I’d go back in a hurry -

We didn’t actually eat here in the end. We had booked the restaurant for a friend’s birthday. When we arrived the restaurant was so loud, with a large group shouting. Luckily they left quite soon after. But the room is one of those that bounces the noise everywhere so you can’t hear yourself think. Definitely not suitable for older people.
We ordered our drinks and checked with the waitress that we had 2 hours from that time. It’s was 15.37. About 12 minutes later, our waitress brought the guacamole and chips (we hadn’t yet ordered our food and were still waiting for the drinks we had ordered). We asked our waitress about this and she left it to the side and went to find our drinks. There were a lot of staff standing around doing nothing so I went to speak to the Manager. She argued with me saying that we had ordered them at 15.45 (then later retracted that and said that was when they were put through the system) and explained that they didn’t have any clean glasses following the large party leaving. I sat back down. A further ten minutes passed and my partner said he didn’t want to stay as almost a quarter of our allocated 2 hour slot had passed and we didn’t even have a drink. There was no apology, remorse or attempt to get us to stay. It was like they had switched off for the weekend. A shame as we’d eaten there before and the food is lovely. We ended up at Cafe Boheme in Soho, where both the food and service were exemplary. Go there instead. -

Went for my friends birthday. The restaurant had a really good atmosphere and nice decor. Food was delicious, our favourites were the classic guac, pork belly tacos and the brownie. Service was really good up until we asked for the bill. We had to ask 4 times and had to wait around an hour and half to finally get the bill. Overall a good experience and I would go back, but the service in getting the bill could be a bit more efficient.
