We had a delightful meal. We were a table of four and all had the Menu of the Day which was excellent value. Given it was a hot day we chose to sit int he garden which was a beautiful tranquil space. The quality of the food was excellent and very good portion sizes. Definitely a favourite restaurant for me and delighted it is reasonably local.

Lunch was fairly expensive if you include drinks. A glass of wine is about £12. The menu was very limited with 2 choices of starter, main and dessert. The food was ok but not really anything special. Coffee and tea cost £9 which gives you some idea of pricing.

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly helpful staff and amazing food. The stuffed veal was incredible as was the duck. It was lovely to sit inside but still have the benefit of the outside option on a lovely evening. The only criticism is that the brass plates on the toilet doors were very difficult to read and as first time visitors we could not see any signs to the toilets and had to ask - this however is only a minor comment and in no way detracts from your lovely restaurant.

Wedding Anniversary with friends - fantastic food and experience - great service with Giancarlo in very good form. My favourite restaurant - especially on warm summery evenings. Many thanks - but next time less wine please!
