Warm welcome, quiet atmosphere, very good food -- loved the slow-cooked dishes in particular.

From the owners of 2 AA Rosette-winning Caldesi in Campagna, Caffe Caldesi brings little-known Italian recipes to London. A bright and breezy dining room is offset by relaxed al fresco dining out on the cobbled pavement.

Bringing lovingly crafted, homemade Italian delicacies to London since 2002, family-run Caffe Caldesi London prides itself on authenticity and tradition. As well as homemade pasta freshly rolled by the Tuscan chef, Caldesi menu favourites include Roman-style slow-cooked chicken thighs, or succulent beef medallions with green peppercorns and sautéed broccoli.

As well as an impressive wine stock and a lengthy list of rich Italian coffee blends, Caffe Caldesi Marylebone offers luxurious Italian desserts. Enjoy orange panna cotta with almond tuile, or rich and gooey flourless chocolate cake.

A failsafe family favourite, the Caldesi restaurant dining room is filled with soft murals and bistro-style furnishings, whilst expansive sash windows bathe the restaurant in natural light. Bond Street Tube Station is a 6-minute walk away.

First time visit after recommendation by a friend. Warm greeting by manager and friendly staff in restaurant. Normal a la carte menu available but supplemented by seasonal " Alpine " specials. We had stewed wild boar with creamy polenta and it was delicious. Although our first time we were made to feel welcome by staff as if we were regulars.

Great restaurant in the heart of Marylebone. Very good fresh food especially the pasta dishes. Great attentive service and good value house wines

Food and service first class. Disappointed that in the main restaurant only a la Carter was available at lunchtime. Many people do not wish to have full dining at hefty pricing. A set menu with good options would seem to be an obvious option. Perhaps the lack of customers reinforces this view. Pity as the food was first class

We've visited Caldesi's other restaurant, in Bray, several times and really love the food and atmosphere. Caffe Caldesi doesn't quite offer the same intimate experience, but is still well worth a visit. The Burrata starter was very good, the Linguine Caldesi pleasant if not exceptional. For mains the calves liver was, as always, superb; the beef tagliata was cooked nicely and the potatoes alla nonna very tasty, but this also lacked a little sparkle. We ordered Gavi di Gavi with the meal which was fine. Service was efficient, but lacked the personality you get at Bray.

We have been eating at Caldesi for nearly 20 years and have never been disappointed. The calve's liver is quite the best in England!
Giancarlo and Katie still provide a Tuscan haven in Marylebone as well as having an outpost in Bray, which is nearer home.
We will continue to worship at the Caldesi shrine on special occasions in the future

Delightful. Just what I needed. The service was attentive, playful, and respectful. She knew I was there to enjoy myself, and she knew just how to join in my fun.
