Arrived early for our 'on line' booking but were seated without a problem. An enjoyable experience with attentive staff and a wide variety of food and wine. The escargot at £6.75 was too expensive, three (3) escargot mixed with chopped bacon, oil & garlic was really poor value. The remainder of the meal was acceptable for the price we paid.

Had the bouillabaisse and wouldn't recommend it, it was bland and tasteless. My wife had confit duck with dauphinois potatoes that looked like they were days old !!! Finished with cheeseboard and asked for crackers (not bread) the waitress had to run out to shop to buy crackers.... Mad.

Last minute arrangement to go here as nice and big as one guest in wheelchair. Overall it's not the best place to go for food as menu is very limited and doesn't seem to have much variety and quite a few dishes weren't on. Food wasn't very hot and very average in accompanying vegetables. Good job I had gourmet card as got a good discount otherwise it's very expensive for what we got. Don't think we will go back again.

Our Dining experience on Monday 7th March in Cafe Rouge Woking.
I booked a table for 4 for 6pm as we had to be in the Theatre next-door for a 7.30pm show.
We chose to order from the £12.95 menu as we felt this was probably a quicker option.
Our starters were with us by 6.25pm. By 6.55pm we still hadn't had our mains and no one had said anything about the delay. We spoke to the waitress who told us there were problems in the kitchen and the Manager had been called into the kitchen to help out.
The table next to us left the restaurant at 7pm without their main meals as they had an elderly disabled lady to get to the theatre. We decided if our mains were not with us by 7.05pm we too would have to leave as we had two 82year olds with us who wouldn't be able to rush to get to the show.
Our meals came at 7.04pm.
However we did have to rush as we needed to leave by 7.15pm to get to the theatre, giving us just 10 minutes to finish our meals and pay the bill. Needless to say one of the elderly only managed to eat half of her meal.
The bill came with an apology for the service and some vouchers towards the new menu being launched. We left the vouchers as we had no intention of returning again. We feel the whole experience was a sham and that we should have been compensated at the time with a discount applied on the meal.
