Set back from the street, Café Rouge Weybridge serves a tasty menu of French cuisine. Offering an al fresco dining area at the front and a private garden at the back, diners can enjoy their dishes in relaxed surroundings.
As part of the nationwide group of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their range of classic French dishes such as confit duck, beef bourguignon, steak frites and mussels. Smaller dishes are also on offer for a lighter bite. Particularly good value for money are the set menus for lunch and dinner (available most days). To accompany the food there is also a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.
In true French style, breakfast is also an important meal at Café Rouge. With croissants, pain au chocolat, omelettes and croques, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.
With an authentic Parisian atmosphere, Café Rouge – Weybridge is a 5-minute drive from Weybridge Train Station.

We won't be returning! No need to book on a Saturday evening - the restaurant was almost empty. We fancied some bread to dip in balsamic/olive oil but they were out of? yes, bread (Get your act together chaps - Tescos is just down the road). Our guest ordered a minute steak but again that was not available although an alternative was offered. I ordered the 'new on the menu' cassoulet but they didn't have any cod and my husband felt his hake had been lurking in some freezer for some time

Great service and good

Not very inspiring. We've eaten at other Cafe Rouges and they were better. The service was patchy and slow, although we were not in a hurry. Our favourite potato gratins were undercooked. The three ladies serving seemed to spend a great deal of time chatting to one table in particular and amongst themselves too! Not impressed - won't be back.

A very well cooked and presented meal which was greatly enjoyed. The wine was very good but not cheap.

Three of us dining at 7.45pm we were seated and had to ask for drinks after 45 mins. It was obvious there were staff shortages. The staff were very stressed and appeared rude. We ordered 2 starters and then had to wait 1 and half hours for the main course. My fillet steak was just gristle and the vegetables were cold and didn't receive my spinach. The waiters didn't write our orders down and attempted to remember them consequently we received the wrong red wine and vegetables. It would have been the right thing to do to warn us upon arrival that there was only one chef in the kitchen, giving us the choice of staying or not. The other two meals were acceptable. Unfortunately it has left us with a bad experience and probably won't return to any cafe rouge again.
