Set on Ruislip High Street, Café Rouge boasts a spacious dining area and hearty French cuisine. Full of character, the warm restaurant has original beams, red banquettes and cosy charm.
As part of the nationwide group of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their range of classic French dishes such as confit duck, beef bourguignon, steak frites and mussels. Smaller dishes are also on offer for a lighter bite. Particularly good value for money are the set menus for lunch and dinner (available most days). To accompany the food there is also a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.
In true French style, breakfast is also an important meal at Café Rouge. With croissants, pain au chocolat, omelettes and croques, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.
Just a 10-minute walk from Ruislip Tube Station for great links to central London, and perfect after a shopping trip along the high street, Café Rouge caters for lovers of all French cuisine.

sat outside in the warm. Clean little patio at the back - not beautiful with flowers etc but pleasant nonetheless. Ate of the cheapie menu, £11.95 for two courses - not exciting food but good value and pleasant enough. Efficient friendly staff allowed us to sit there for in excess of three hours without disturbing us. Generally a good venue for a ladies catch up. Enjoyed and will go again.

we were allocated our chosen table no problem. Starters, bresse blue, was fine, grilled prawns were cold and were returned, the rest of our meal was fine.

Well, Valentines Day was an amazing experience. A two piece group entertained us for the evening whilst we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was a set meal, not too much to choose from but I always find that if you are offered too much to choose from, it's painful! The staff were friendly and we were allowed to take as much time as we liked between courses; I like that! Who says romance is dead, certainly not me and we will be going again.
