On Pinner High Street, Café Rouge offers diners classic French cuisine and wine within a charming and cosy interior. Pinner Tube Station is just a 4-minute walk away.

As part of the nationwide group of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their range of classic French dishes such as confit duck, beef bourguignon, steak frites and mussels. Smaller dishes are also on offer for a lighter bite. Particularly good value for money are the set menus for lunch and dinner (available most days). To accompany the food there is also a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.

In true French style, breakfast is also an important meal at Café Rouge. With croissants, pain au chocolat, omelettes and croques, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.

Café Rouge - Pinner offers diners a place to relax with tasty French food and drink, and watch the high street shoppers pass by through the glass frontage.

We were given a good size table away from the entrance,so no drafts and plenty of room. We booked for lunch and service was particularly good as it was a quiet day. This is unusual for Cafe Rouge as it is normally pretty busy. The portions were more than enough and the plum sauce with the Duck was very tastey.

We went on a Saturday (early) lunchtime with a young child and babe in arms - the service was extremely slow, (despite the Maitre'd stating it wasn't busy to another table who complained about slow service) - we went for a set (Valentine's weekend) menu and the kitchen clearly were not au fait with it as we had to ask for the rest of the starter 20 mins after first part had arrived, one of the main dishes was not available - but the deserts were lovely, however due to the dreadful service for the price we paid, we would go to the french place next door next time!

One minor criticism - there wasn't a Loire valley rose on the wine list.

I ate with the fsmily at 7.30 the food was excellent and the waitress did her best; however the service took a long time, and we had to wait a while for our meal to arrive.

Really enjoyed the Duck meal. The portions were just right. If anything was missing it was soon found and given to us. All male waiters that evening gave very good professional service.
