Housed on the 1st floor of the Manchester Trafford Centre, Café Rouge offers authentic French cuisine. A traditional faux façade overlooks the courtyard dining area looking out on to the domed food court.
As part of the nationwide group of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their range of classic French dishes such as confit duck, beef bourguignon, steak frites and mussels. Smaller dishes are also on offer for a lighter bite. Particularly good value for money are the set menus for lunch and dinner (available most days). To accompany the food there is also a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.
In true French style, breakfast is also an important meal at Café Rouge. With croissants, pain au chocolat, omelettes and croques, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.
Served by fantastic bus links and with ample free parking, Café Rouge within the Trafford Centre is the perfect place to dine between shops.

Took a while to be served but that was ok , when my food arrived it was fish fries pea and mint I asked for lightly battered it was not .When I started eating my fish it appeared that the fish had been put on the plate upside down because the skin of the fish was on the top as I cut into it. I told the waitress not sure if she knew what I meant . It was Hake as I asked the waitress not very tasty .. Drinks are overpriced ,we was never asked if we would like water with our meal.

Waited at front of desk for 10 minutes no one came had to go to find someone, they seated us and had to clear the table whilst we were there, then we were left again for nearly 15 minutes with no menus etc again I had to go and ask someone. Food came was lovely ?? But the customer service and waiting has completely put us off will not visit again

Got a 3 course meal. Starter French soup was ok. Main was a burger with hard fat in it (like bone). Desert lemon tart was revolting.

My friend & I wanted to meet up to grab an early dinner and catch up on all our gossip so Cafe Rouge was perfect. The location was great for easy parking and access, we had a Wowcher voucher so it was a good deal for 2 courses, the food was well prepared and presented, the service was excellent and the restaurant was quiet so we weren't rushed.

Nice food and the young blonde girl who seemed to be doing everything herself as couldn’t see anyone else was lovely, I have seen her before and she is nice and friendly

When my friends and I arrived we were shown straight to our table. The staff were very polite and quickly attended to us with drinks as we chose our meals. All the starters arrived promptly, the main courses were all brought piping hot and were delicious. We would definitely use this restaurant again and would recommend it to others.
