In the heart of Bromley, just around the corner from the Glades shopping centre and Churchills Theatre, Café Rouge offers rustic, good value French cuisine.
As part of the nationwide group of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their range of classic French dishes such as confit duck, beef bourguignon, steak frites and mussels. Smaller dishes are also on offer for a lighter bite. Particularly good value for money are the set menus for lunch and dinner (available most days). To accompany the food there is also a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.
In true French style, breakfast is also an important meal at Café Rouge. With croissants, pain au chocolat, omelettes and croques, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.
Café Rouge - Bromley is popular with lovers of French dining, with a cosy ambience and friendly attentive service.

THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT BUT THE SERVICE WAS VERY POOR. THE WAITRESSES HARDLY SPOKE AND IN FACT ONE OF THEM DID NOT SPEAK TO US AT ALL EVEN WHEN I SPOKE TO HER. WE WAITED SO LONG FOR OUR MAIN COURSE (AN HOUR) THAT WE NEARLY LEFT

Service was very slow with only two waitresses. Very good to see Vegan options and food was ok.

The occasion- my friends birthday We arrived for our booking and were seated at a reserved table We decided to skip the starters and ordered mains. I had the duck , my friend had Demi Poulet. We enjoyed our dishes Both were cooked to perfection and very tasty - accompanied with the house rose. For desert we decided to have cake and tea. My friend chose the chocolate cake whilst I preferred the red velvet Unfortunately the cakes were very dry. Also they came unaccompanied ( no cream / ice cream) which made them even more unpalatable. A very disappointing finish to the meal. Service was good though throughout
