The staff especially The Manger gave a great welcome and the service really did stand out. The new bistro rump was cooked to perfection, in fact all the food was of the best quality..

In the city's buzzing and vibrant Brindleyplace, Café Rouge offers traditional French cuisine in a delightful French setting. Complete with large al fresco dining area overlooking the river, Café Rouge Birmingham boasts a menu for all occasions.

An authentic French feel greets diners as they enjoy a range of French dishes at Café Rouge. As part of the nationwide group of Café Rouge restaurants, this branch offers their range of classic French dishes such as confit duck, beef bourguignon, steak frites and mussels. Smaller dishes are also on offer for a lighter bite. Particularly good value for money are the set menus for lunch and dinner (available most days). To accompany the food there is also a good range of French wines, many from less well known producers.

In true French style, breakfast is also an important meal at Café Rouge. With croissants, pain au chocolat, omelettes and croques, as well as hot chocolate, tea and all types of coffees, it makes a great start to the day.

Surrounded by hotels, Café Rouge Brindleyplace is within walking distance of the Crescent Theatre, Highlight Comedy and a variety of galleries.

The restaurant was extremely busy but flexible in recognising that Friday evening traffic in Birmingham is horrendous when we arrived 30 minutes late. That said, the food and service were great. Well done.

From the welcome at the door to a friendly farewell the staff were great. The restaurant was busy but we were served quickly and the food was delicious both mains and desserts. A wonderful dining experience.
